iOS Mobile Developer Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled iOS Mobile Developer Lead to join and lead our mobile development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced iOS applications, mentoring team members, ensuring best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences. What You’ll Do • Lead the design and development of iOS applications from concept to deployment. • Guide and mentor a team of iOS developers; perform code reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement. • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver scalable and robust mobile solutions. • Define and enforce coding standards, architecture best practices, and development workflows. • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. • Stay updated on iOS trends, architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture), and technologies. • Manage app releases and oversee App Store submissions. • Drive innovation and advocate for new tools, techniques, and processes. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. What You Know • You must reside in Chile • Advanced English Skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 7+ years of experience in iOS development using Swift and Objective-C. • 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role. • Strong understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Core Animation, and other iOS frameworks. • Hands-on experience with Xcode, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Fastlane). • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services integration. • Solid grasp of mobile application design patterns and principles (e.g., MVC, MVVM). • Experience with Unit Testing, UI Testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD). • Published one or more iOS apps in the App Store. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). • Familiarity with mobile analytics, crash reporting tools, and A/B testing. • Experience with Firebase, Realm, or other 3rd-party SDKs. • Knowledge of security best practices for mobile apps.
