Job Purpose: Oversees and directs all development activities and coordinate product development process to ensure projects are executed according to strategy and prioritization process in R&D center located in Santiago/Chile in collaboration with line functions, in compliance with Abbott policies and Regulatory Requirements. Professional with scientific training, experience in product design, involvement with the business and a strong orientation towards quality. Responsible for the organic growth of the company, local (30%) and regional (70%), through the incorporation of NPI and reformulations and thus comply with commercial and operational management. This role will work with the cross and main regional functional team of the manufacturing site, to achieve successful Audits, new products, and promote a culture of collaboration and accountability through outstanding organizational & leaderships skills. Knowledge, Experience and Education: . Education: Master's degree Years of experience, Pharmaceutical Bachelor degree exclusive, minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with the Pharmaceutical Industry. With strong leaderships skills as well as collaboration skills. Other qualifications/certifications: Desirable experience and knowledge in Product design, Bioequivalence, Regulatory affairs, Pharmacovigilance, international pharmaceutical guidelines Working independently, with guidance as needed, to plan and execute operational activities. Knowledge and studies related to quality standards, and commercial processes in order to have a complete vision of the business. Strong organizational skills
