Mid or Senior Java Developer (Chile)

Contract Details • Modality: Contractor • Duration: 6 months (with possible extension) • Workload: Full-time • Location: Santiago, Chile – Hybrid (2 days per week onsite) About The Role We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance backend services. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Java and Spring Boot, as well as exposure to cloud environments (Azure or GCP) and data solutions such as BigQuery. Requirements: • At least 3 years of experience developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. (mid) • Over 5 years of experience designing and building backend applications with Java and Spring Boot. (senior) • Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices architectures. • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure or GCP preferred). • Experience working with BigQuery, SQL databases, or other analytical data platforms. • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and version control (Git). • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in distributed teams. • Upper-Intermediate English level or higher (written and spoken).
