Tier 3 Systems Engineer

Location: Santiago, Chile (Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in-office)Fluent english proficiency is required. (All interviews are in english, expected people to be able to discuss technical topics in English). Andes Path is a dynamic and innovative tech company focused on bringing scalable and innovative solutions to a variety of industries using leading-edge technologies including robotics, computer vision technology, and platform development. We are seeking a Tier 3 Systems Engineer to join our growing Santiago-based team and work closely with security- and compliance-focused Managed Services Provider (MSP) giving support to small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) in the US. This role will be heavily involved in project delivery, modernization efforts, and Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) configuration, while providing advanced support to the helpdesk teams when needed. Key Responsibilities:• Lead and implement infrastructure projects including: • Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online migrations (e.g., Google Workspace to M365, tenant-to-tenant transitions) • Identity and device modernization from on-prem to Intune/Entra ID/Azure AD • SSO integration for cloud applications (primarily SAML/OIDC in Entra ID, with some Duo and Google Workspace environments) • Maintain and optimize Datto RMM configuration for client environments • Drive automation and policy standardization to support zero-touch deployment • Ensure security stack and update policies are managed via RMM • Collaborate with the Santiago-based Network Administrator and US SMB delivery team to execute coordinated service delivery • Triage and resolve Tier 3 escalations as needed from the helpdesk team • Contribute to the company-wide initiative to make all fully managed customers Intune-ready, including: • Device enrollment workflows • Software profile deployments • Security and compliance baselines • Work directly with some co-managed customers for project implementation, requiring occasional customer-facing communication • Support documentation and knowledge transfer into internal systems as part of our structured onboarding and compliance posture Work Environment & Schedule:• Hybrid work model: at least 2 days per week in our Santiago office • Primary collaboration with Santiago network team and US-based systems team • Some infrequent, scheduled after-hours work may be required for specific cutovers or project activities Onboarding & Growth:While we are seeking an experienced engineer, we offer access to a variety of self-guided and video-based training platforms as well as a structured onboarding experience to familiarize you with our systems, processes, and company culture.
